I just found out one of my friends from high school died in the tsunami in Japan. I lost a few friends when Derek and I broke up and Monty and his brother Ian were among them. I'm currently sitting on concrete stairs outside an engineering building. I was up in the computer lab, alternately working on my light and laser homework and reading American Idol-related nonsense, but then - fire alarm.
